Hope Show and Sheep Dog Trials

I have booked a stand at the Hope Country Show and Sheep Dog Trials on August Bank Holiday Monday and Tuesday. We now have two volunteers to man the stand each day but we will need at least 6 to 8 people each day.

This will involve setting up the stand including gazebo, banners, tables etc and running a tombola, lucky dip and second hand book stall.

I would be grateful if you could get in touch with me as soon as possible with the days and times you can help..

The September Executive Meeting will be held on Wednesday 22nd September 2010 at the Old Pack Horse Hotel, Chapel-en-le Frith.

The meeting will start at 8.00pm but Alistair Stevens (Chair) and Shirley Holt (Membership Development Officer) will be in the bar from 7.30pm to welcome new and old members.

East Midlands Autumn Regional Conference and AGM

The East Midlands Autumn Regional Conference and AGM is scheduled on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 9.30 am.

The Autumn Regional Conference is booked in the Ashfield area in north Notts, and will be at the Festival Hall in Kirkby in Ashfield on 30th October. This meeting will also be the Annual General Meeting of the East Midlands Liberal Democrats. For more information see www.eastmidslibdems.org.uk
