High Peak Liberal Democrats

Alistair Stevens Campaigning in the High Peak

Janet Carter - for New Mills West

Background

I have lived and worked in New Mills for almost 30 years. Years ago I ran a business in New Mills which lots of people supported and still remember. Currently I am a legal secretary for a firm of local solicitors and as such have contact with the good people of New Mills on a daily basis.

I would not describe myself as a politician but as a person who cares about their locality, local issues and local people.

I have been a New Mills Town Councillor for 3 years and I am involved with various local groups.
