We had a remarkable Byelection gain last night in the, until now, Labour stronghold of Ancoats & Beswick Ward of Manchester City Council:
The result was: Lib Dem - 1,113, Lab - 793, Green - 119, Con - 66
Lib Dem gain from Labour.
Last May , Labour secured over 2000 votes and we got 700. There are now 2 Lib Dem Councillors in Manchester
